My name is Sarah Lauchnor, MS and I am a current counseling intern at Skye Therapy Solutions providing Equine Assisted, Animal Assisted, and Play Therapy Services. I specialize in working with clients ranging in age from 5 to 60 with anxiety, Autism, ADHD, and minor trauma. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have always been an avid equine enthusiast and enjoy helping people and animals. I currently have horses, dogs, sheep, goats, and chickens within the therapy program. I have worked and trained within the equine industry since 2016 and am currently the Education Director for Health World where we provide equine camps and field trips for children. I have been with Skye Therapy since the end of 2022 where I began providing behavior modification services to children, adolescents, teens, and adults. Prior to that, I was a high school teacher with an alternative population in Downtown Phoenix. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time in nature, riding my horses, camping, and playing video games.
I have been trained in Equid Nexus IFS Equine Engaged “parts work," somatic experiencing, play therapy, equine therapy, animal assisted therapy, and eco-therapy.
